Headline Details: A 3U CubeSat. The mission of the ArcticSat-1 spacecraft is to study the influence of space weather factors on the systems of a small spacecraft in the polar regions; acquisition and data analysis on the movement of vessels in the waters of the Northern Sea Route; involving schoolchildren and students in scientific and technical creativity and developing their current competencies in the field of data processing and analysis. The ArcticSat-1 spacecraft is capable to transmit of camera photos and preloaded images in digital and analog format (SSTV) to ground amateur radio stations around the world for educational purposes. Proposing a UHF downlink using GMSK at between 1k2 and 19k2 bps with AX25. Planning a Roscosmos launch from Vostochniy in May 2024 into a 520 x 500 km SSO. | ||||
