Headline Details: MODSAT-1 is a 12 kg 236x236x240 mm microsat. Its mission is: - To design, develop and test the satellite within 2 years. -To design and develop the satellite with low budget that is less than 1.5M $. -To verify the subsystems designed in house and test their reliability in space. -To fully integrate and test the satellite in UAE. -To build knowledge and experience in communication satellites. -To demonstrate the technology of IoT communication satellite. Proposing a UHF downlink using 9k6 BPSK. Planning a Soyuz launch from Baikonur in Q4 2022 into a 600km polar orbit with primary satellite CAS500-2.
