Headline Details: A 2U CubeSat mission. Objectives include:- Train high-quality personnel - Part of the Canadian Cubesat Project - Test experimental dosimeter boards along with established dosimeters to compare their performance - Test Melanin based radiation shielding - Photo of earth for the RADSAT-SK outreach project. Transponder mode may be available for use by the public. The mode still needs to be tested by our team before we can be certain that we will use it. If it works with our satellite the transponder will work with FM modulation signals uplinked in our VHF frequency and downlinked in our UHF frequency. Proposing a 9k6 GMSK AX25 downlink. Planning a Q2 2022 Nanoracks deployment from the ISS together with other Canadian CubeSats. More info at https://usst.ca/cubesat *A downlink on 435.400 MHz and an uplink on 145.830 MHz have been coordinated** | ||||
