Headline Details: A 1U CubeSat. The satellite is primarily an in orbit engineering demonstrator model. Four out of five of its subsystems are bespoke: • Flight Vehicle: Structure and inhibit switches. • Power: for collecting, managing and distributing power. • Command & Data Handling: software control of all systems. • Flight Systems: orientation control. • Telecommunications is using COTS, namely the Astrodev Lithium 2 and Endurosat UHF antenna. Proposing a UHF downlink using 9k6 GMSK. Planning a RocketLab launch from New Zealand in Feb 2019 into a 450x500km 45 degree inclination orbit.** A downlink frequency of 437.200 MHz has been coordinated** | ||||
