Headline Details: CP9 or the Launch Environment Observer (LEO) is a 2U CubeSat designed to measure G-force and thermal data during launch vehicle ascent. This will help characterize the launch vehicle and provide data for NASA LSP to better understand the launch environment for CubeSats in a P-POD. Prior to P-POD deployment, LEO will receive additional collected data from its partner satellite, StangSat. Once LEO is ejected from the P-POD, the antenna will deploy, and both LEO and StangSat data will be transmitted back to Earth. Proposing a 9k6/19k2/38k4 AX25 FSK downlink on UHF.
