Headline Details: CAMSAT is working closely with DFH Satellite Co. Ltd which is Chinese governmental aerospace contractor to build six satellites and all involved in amateur radio. A U/V mode linear transponder, a two meters CW telemetry beacon and an AX.25 19.2k, 9.6k and 4.8k baud GMSK telemetry downlink will be attached in each of the six satellites, each set of amateur radio equipment will have the same technical characteristics, but operates on different frequencies of 70cm band uplink and 2m band downlink. In addition, CAMSAT is also assisting other three agencies to complete another three satellites. The nine satellites are described: CAS-3A: A micro-satellite for atmospheric physics experiments and amateur radio missions. Planned to be 398x398x398mm dimension regular square shape and approx. 25kg mass with three-axis stabilization system. Two daughter satellites CAS-3E and CAS-3F will be piggybacked on top of the satellite. CAS-3B, CAS-3C and CAS-3D: Three identical micro-satellites for atmospheric physics experiments and amateur radio missions. each satellite will be 246x246x246mm dimension regular square shape and approx. 10kg mass with three-axis stabilization system. CAS-3E and CAS-3F: Two identical Cubesats for amateur radio mission only. Planned to be 116x116x116mm dimension regular square shape and approx. 1.5kg mass. They will be piggybacked on CAS-3A satellite and separated after CAS-3A gets into orbit. CAS-3G:CAMSAT assists Shenzhen Aerospace Dongfanghong HIT Satellite Ltd. of China to build a 2U Cubesat for the University educational purposes. CAS-3H:CAMSAT assists Harbin Institute of Technology of China to build a micro-satellite for science experiments and amateur radio missions. It is planned to be 300x300x300mm dimension regular square shape and approx. 25kg mass. CAS-3I:CAMSAT assists National University of Defense Technology of China to build a Phone-satellite for technical experiment purposes. It is planned to be 98x98x7mm dimension regular square shape and approx. 100g mass. CAS-3A, CAS-3B, CAS-3C, CAS-3D, CAS-3E and CAS-3F: U/V 20kHz wide transponders with 145MHz CW beacon and 19k2 GMSK AX25 telemetry downlinks. CAS-3G: 9k6 GMSK AX25 downlinks on 145MHz and 437MHz. CAS-3H: APRS on 145MHz and V/U FM transponder and CW beacon on 437MHz. CAS-3I: 9k6 FSK telemetry downlink on 437MHz. Planning a launch on July 20th from Taiyuan into 524km sun synchronous orbit using a LM-6/CZ-6.**Only CAS3D and CAS3E have been coordinated** | ||||
