Headline Details: The space station will consist of a 1U CubeSat developed through collaborative effort by the University of North Dakota and Iowa State University. The space station will consist of an optical payload, a communication payload, and a GPS receiver and antenna. The optical payload will be able to capture and enhance images of Earth within its flyover range and will be able to determine its position while taking those images The communications payload will demonstrate the capability of communications between the CubeSat and the ground station.
