| Headline Details: NyanSat is a 2U CubeSat designed, built, and operated by students at Oakwood High School, carrying technology-development and scientific payloads. The payload suite includes acoustic structural measurement, radio-based orbit determination, distributed ledgers,, embedded 10BASE-T1S Ethernet, student artwork, and an imaging camera. It also contains a material science experiment that students at approximately 30 schools will be following and conducting control observations. The spacecraft uses in-house avionics, structure, and flight software as a common platform for payload operation, data collection, onboard storage, and communication. Proposing a UHF downlink using 2-GFSK at 4k8 or GFSK at 1k2 or 9k6 bps. Planning a NASA launch to the ISS in June 2027. | ||||
