| Headline Details: MAVERIC is a 3U CubeSat from the University of Southern California. The satellite carries two identical commercially available multispectral imagers (MSI), which will image an LCD located in front of each camera, with the earth and sky in the background around the LCD screen. The goals are both science and technology based for magnetic field readings and testing new algorithms for optical imagery in real time. Planning a 9k6 UHF downlink using Golay framing with GMSK. Planning a SpaceX launch from Vandenberg in July 2026 into a 590 km polar orbit. | ||||
