Headline Details: A 1U CubeSat mission. The satellite has a single radio transceiver that operates in UHF amateur band (435-438 MHz). Data from all satellite subsystems has to go through this transceiver, including the payload data, control telecommands, subsystem telemetry, etc. SAKHACUBE-CHOLBON is a small spacecraft developed and built as a part of a joint project with the Sakha Science Academy to launch the first Sakha satellite. The spacecraft purpose is to perform educational and scientific research tasks, as well as to prepare the ground support infrastructure and personnel for future missions. The spacecraft carries a payload built by YKSA, LLC with 12 Arduino-compatible microcontrollers and a set of sensors to study the environment. School students of the Sakha Republic will be able to upload firmware to the payload via Sakha Science Academy ground station. The mission is inspired by 2013 ArduSat satellite. On-board sensors include a small size gamma ray scintillation spectrometer, a Raspberry Pi camera, magnetometer and a set of multispectral light sensors for use with an experimental coarse attitude determination algorithm. All sensors are available for use by students in their programs, and the collected data will be made public. Amateur radio missions are primarily SSTV and digital mode transmissions of postcards, camera images and educational images on the culture of the Sakha Republic in 435-438 MHz UHF band. All transmissions will be announced in advance via the project website and other means, such as R4UAB and Libre Space communities. At least monthly schedule is planned throughout the entire duration of the spacecraft operation. QSL diploma program will be established by the Sakha Science Academy. A secondary amateur mission is an experimental AX.25 (G3RUH)/Sputnix USP mailbox-mode message relay service. Amateur operators will be able to send text messages to the satellite for retransmission above selected area over Sputnix USP or AX.25 (G3RUH) protocol. The service is handled by the payload subsystem; details and schedule will be announced on the project website. Proposing a UHF downlink using standard SPUTNIX protocols, which were already used in numerous amateur missions from Russia. Information on the protocol is available on the SPUTNIX website: https://sputnix.ru/en/satellitessputnix/ for-radio amateurs. Decoders and telemetry viewers are available as well. Will provide variable data rates from 2k4 and 9k6 bps also 9k6 GMSK-G3RUH AX25SSDV and Robot 36. Planning a launch into a 550km SSO from Vostochny Kosmodrome in October 2025. Additional information will be published on the project website. More info at https://www.yksa.space/projects/missions/sakhacube-cholbon
