Headline Details: KENSAT is a personal 2U CubeSat intended to be the first Malaysian private individual’s satellite in orbit. - Takes images via onboard camera(s). - Transmits amateur beacon/telemetry data over UHF (437.080 MHz, 437.310 MHz). - Demonstrates an ADCS (Attitude Determination and Control System). - Educational and research aims—no commercial usage. - The satellite is operated by a duly licensed amateur with no pecuniary interest, satisfying RR 1.56 and 1.57. - Telemetry, data formats, and software will be publicly available, allowing amateurs worldwide to receive, decode, and analyze signals. - The mission furthers technical investigations and self-training, consistent with the amateur- satellite service. - Operators can collaborate on capturing telemetry, sharing imagery data, and testing new techniques. Proposing a UHF downlink using GFSK at up to 1Mbps. Planning a launch on SpaceX Transponder 17 mission from Cape Canaveral in June 2026 into a 520 km SSO. More info at www.kensat.com
