Headline Details: A 350 g payload 165 x 136 x25m on the POEM platform. The mission is to design, develop and launch a payload to perform the following functions: 1. Pre-Recorded image transmission using Slow Scan Tele-Vision (SSTV) E.g., Pictures depicting important milestones/achievements of India’s contribution in the field of Space Science and Amateur Radio. 2. Pre-Recorded Audio message transmission E.g., Preamble of Indian Constitution. 3. Telemetry (House Keeping/ Health Parameters) transmission (AX.25 packet) with APRS digipeater capability. E.g., Health parameters of the payload, useful for amateur and start-up fraternity to understand the in-orbit performance of the payload. The primary objective of the project is to provide new avenues for amateur radio satellite service in India and across the globe. The payload can be used as an educational outreach tool providing services towards student fraternity among the reforming Indian space sector and also to celebrate and commemorate India’s 75th Independence Year – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Proposing a VHF downlink for APRS Digipeater, voice and SSTV using Robot72. Planning a PSLV launch on mission C60 in Dec 2024. More info from https://github.com/Raisa0608/BGS-ARPIT/tree/main
