Headline Details: The Lobachevsky satellite of the CubeSat 16U form factor is designed: for educational activities within the Space-pi project; for interaction with radio amateurs all over the world (call sign - RS83S) (most of the satellite's active time); On board the small satellite LOBACHEVSKY a payload consisting of: Amateur radio digital repeater to ensure the transmission and exchange of messages between radio amateurs of the planet. a panchromatic visible camera with four spectral lines for Earth remote sensing and terrain analysis. a hyperspectral short-wave infrared camera for analyzing the environmental state, monitoring forests and classifying man-made objects. The mission of the LOBACHEVSKY satellite will follow a goal to connect many amateurs around the world. There will be a topic created on SatNOGS community forum to share news, amateur programs and achievements of the mission. There also will be these three experiments conducted: Amateur radio VHF crossband repeater will allow radio amateurs from all over the world to exchange short messages, participate in competitions. SSDV and SSTV transmissions with images obtained by the Lobachevsky spacecraft cameras is planned. Radio amateurs will be able to receive both panchromatic and hyperspectral camera images, thus linking scientific activities with amateur communications. Experimental transmission of DVB-S2 video of the Lobachevsky satellite flyby on X band. This will allow radio amateurs to test their receiving setups. Information about the video transmission will appear in advance on the University website. http://www.unn.ru/ Proposing VHF downlink for the AFSK 1k2 digital repeater, UHF GFSK 9k6 downlink for telemetry SSDV and SSTV plus an X Band downlink for DVB-S2 2 Mbs experiments. Planning a Roscosmos launch from Vostochniy in Q3 2024 or Q1 2025 into 510/520 km SSO. **A repeater uplink on 145.910 MHz, downlinks 435.500 MHz for the repeater, for telemetry 436.320 MHz and 10470.000 MHz have been coordinated** | ||||
