Headline Details: A 100mm cubesat scheduled for launch into a low earth orbit from Japan in September 2008. Intended to demonstrate a minature 3 axis gyro sensor for attitude data and take earth observation photographs with JPEG compression and "good picture selection" determination taking place on-board. It will carry a 100mW CW beacon and a 800mW AX25 telemetry transmitter on 437.305MHz. Will be named Negai after launch. More information from http://kuro.t.soka.ac.jp/
