Headline Details: MEMESat-1 is a 2U satellite which will be used to transmit and receive images and audio over amateur radio bands, serve as a repeater for the amateur radio community, and allow engagement with the satellite by anyone with an internet connection through a GUI hosted on letsgo2space.com, the website of MEMESat-1 non-profit client. MEMESat-1 will receive commands and payload uplinks from UGA?s ground station, downlink payload to the ground station, and serve as a repeater for the ham radio community. Proposing a UHF downlink using 40k and 9k6 GMSK. Planning a Rocket Lab deployment from KSC in summer 2023 to a 400km 51.6 degree orbit.
