Headline Details: DTUsat-2 is a cubesat project which will carry a primary payload which is a bird tracking mission and two secondary payloads. The first is a DTU-developed miniature CCD camera, referred to as PICOCAM, and the second is a MEMS sun-sensor, also developed at DTU. The primary payload will use non-amateur frequencies but a beacon and secondary payload data transmitter is proposed for the 2.4GHz band. Uplinking will be in the 1.2GHz band(1268.900/2401.835MHz). It is planned for a late 2007 to late 2008 launch window. More information from www.dtu.dk and www.dtusat.dtu.dk
