Headline Details: A 1U CubeSat mission. The purpose of the mission is to launch a 1U satellite with a digital repeater to support the radio amateur society. Furthermore, the satellite mission will be used in STEM activities with a reprogrammable on-board processing module being controlled through the ground station network. The mission will contain two independent payloads: • DigitalRepeater VHF uplink around 145 MHz UHF downlink around 437 MHz • On-board Sandbox Computer Module for STEM Two independent ARM Cortex-M7 modules Running FreeRTOS with CSP and lib pram 64 GB storage memory Own power channel Access to solar panels and temperature sensors Access to ADCS Access to S-band radio The digital repeater will contribute to the advancement of the amateur satellite service. As part of the mission, we will build 10 mobile ground station (receiving only), based on design from SATNOGS that will be used for STEM activities in Danish high schools. This means that we will actively use the mission to make the next generations aware of the possibilities with amateur satellite services. Proposing a UHF downlink using 4k8, 9k6 or 19k2 GMSK with AX25 and CSP and also an S Band downlink. The V/U digital repeater function will be identical to that used on the ISS. Planning a Momentus launch from Kennedy Space Center in Q3 2022 into a 500-600km polar orbit. **Frequencies for downlinks on 436.725 MHz and 2432.500 MHz, plus, for the V/U digital repeater, 437.075 MHz downlink and 145.860 MHz uplink, have been coordinated**
Application Date: 17 Nov 2021   Freq coordination completed on 02 May 2022
