Headline Details: A 45kg 300x300x600mm micro satellite project, sponsored by the European Space Agency involving students from nine European universities. The ESEO mission has two type of objectives: • providing students with valuable and challenging hands-on space project experience across all disciplines and throughout the full project lifecycle in order to fully prepare a well-qualified space workforce for the future. • fulfilling technical/scientific objectives: - take pictures of the Earth and/or other celestial bodies from Earth orbit for educational outreach purposes - provide measurements of the plasma and radiation environment in Earth orbit - test technologies for future education satellite missions. Planning to use 437MHz for main TMTC operations using 4k8 or 9k6 GMSK AX25 format plus, an AMSAT provided, 1263 to 145 MHz for both FM voice transponder and FUNcube compatible telemetry for STEM outreach. It will also have an S Band system using non-amateur frequencies. No launch opportunity has yet identified but a 520km SSO LEO is planned. **Downlinks on 437.00MHz and 145.930MHz and a transponder uplink on 1263.500MHz have been coordinated.** **The team have requested an amended down-link frequency of 145.895 MHz to avoid down-links from other missions. Additionally a 4k8 BPSK data rate is also proposed**** The revised downlink frequency of 145.895 MHz has been coordinated** | ||||
