Headline Details: SAFIR-S is to be launched as part of a Rubin payload on the September 27th 2005 launch with SSETI Express. It will use the callsign DP1AIS. The SAFIR-S beacon and telemetry data consist of:a) 9k6 G3RUH FSK data packets:* beacon identification* SAFIR-S internal telemetry b) NBFM audio beacon (voice)* “spoken” beacon identification (no greeting message)Transmission cycle is a) max 8 seconds, every 20 seconds b) 5-8 seconds, once per minute.
