Headline Details: A 3U CubeSat. The mission for CySat is to give students hands on experience and valuable skills in the designing and building of a CubeSat. CySat-1 will be the students first attempt at designing, building and launching a 3U CubeSat with a real payload. This CubeSat will be the start of a microsatellite program at Iowa State University for students to continue building these satellites and learn these skills that can carry with them after graduation. Proposing a 9k6 downlink on UHF and planning a deployment from the ISS as part of the ELaNa25 mission. ** A downlink on 436.375 MHz has been coordinated** ** Launch now set for the Space X21 launch in Aug 2020** | ||||
