Headline Details: This is a 1U CubeSat - RadFxSat-2 will carry a radiation effects experiment developed by the Institute for Space and Defense Electronics (ISDE) at Vanderbuilt University. RadFxSat-2 will also serve as a communications relay for amateurs worldwide via the onboard transponder system. The communications and experiment missions will run concurrently. The following frequencies have been co-ordinated: for transponder downlink 435.775 MHz with emission designator 30K0V8WWF, antenna gain 0 dBd; • for telemetry beacon 435.750 MHz with 1k2 BPSK antenna gain 0 dBd; • for transponder uplink 145.875 MHz with emission designator 30K0V8WWF Planning an ELaNA launch from Mojave NET Dec 2017 | ||||
