Headline Details: A 1U Cubesat project. The primary objective is to further education of the students involved with the project, the secondary objective is focused on an orbital decay study of EagleSat over time. The weight of this has fallen upon the internal GPS unit. As an outline of the functional requirements, the unit must be capable of determining the position of EagleSat periodically throughout the life of the satellite, never forgetting the importance of communicating this data indirectly to the ground station. Expecting to launch into a 800x450km polar orbit from Vandenburg in Jan 2017. Planning a UHF downlink using 1k2 AFSK AX25 packet. Other passengers may include RADFXSat, GoldenEagl-1 & MiRaTa. More info from Sites.google.com/site/eaglesatteam ** A downlink on 437.645MHz has been coordinated** | ||||
