Headline Details: The aim of SMOG-1 is to measure the radiated signal level of digital terrestrial TV transmitters on the 460- 860 MHz band around the world as electromagnetic smog caused by human beings. During the lifetime of SMOG-1: periodically analyze the spectrum, save the RSSI levels to a flash memory and radiates the measurement results to the ground stations if possible (initiated by GND telecommand). This is a PocketQube project. Proposing a UHF downlink using 20dBm with 2-Gaussian Minimal Shift Keying (2-GMSK) max. 20kHz bandwidth and max. 13,3 kbit/s data rate; CW Morse code for the basic telemetry: callsign, accu voltage and temperature. More info at http://www.gnd.bme.hu/ ** A downlink on 437,345 MHz has been coordinated**
Application Date: 13 Nov 2015   Freq coordination completed on 30 Nov 2015
