Headline Details: AAUSAT5 is a 1 unit cubesat. Primary mission is to receive AIS beacons from ships with a new design based on AAUSAT3. In addition to that a educational payload for high school outreach is going to be designed first half 2014 by engineering students The AIS receiver payload is based on SDR principles. It is hoped to deploy from the ISS and remain in orbit for approx 6 months. **A downlink for the GMSK telemetry on 437.425MHz as used previously has been coordinated**
