Headline Details: A 3U CubeSat. USS Langley has the two primary missions. One is to fly the Unix-Space-Server (USS) to experiment with using a server in space of Amateur Experimentation and the second mission is to continue the PSK-31 multi-user transponder experiments attempted on the previous PCSAT2 (2006) and RAFT(2007). Proposing PSK31, and AFSK AX25 downlinks on UHF,also FSK downlink at S Band with uplinks on S Band, VHF and 10 metres (PSK31). Planning an NRO launch from Wallops into an approx 60 deg 400x750km orbit.**The following frequencies have been coordinated: Downlinks 437,475 MHz, 2.404 GHz, 435.350 MHz. Uplinks 145,825 MHz, 2.404 GHz,28,120 MHz* While not in the bandplan as a satellite frequency, the panel considered the motivation for this frequency as to give lower class license holders in the US the opportunity to participate in the project.** | ||||
