Headline Details: A 2U CubeSat. As part of the QB50 mission, Aalto-2 has the scientific objective to study in-situ the temporal and spatial variations of a number of key constituents and parameters in the lower thermosphere (90-320 km) in a network of about 40 double CubeSats, separated by a few hundred kilometers and carrying identical sensors. It will also study the re-entry process by measuring a number of key parameters during re-entry and by comparing predicted and actual CubeSat trajectories and orbital lifetimes. [ref: QB50 website] Aalto-2 is a student centered project. The vast majority of the satellite is designed and built by students of Aalto University and students of other universities in Finland. The project also promotes engineering and science for to-be-students and the general public.Proposing a UHF 9k6 FSK downlink with CW beacon. **A downlink on 437.335MHz has been coordinated** ** The downlink modulation scheme has now been changed to 2-GFSK** | ||||
