Headline Details: LilacSat-1 is a 2U CubeSat for education, upper atmosphere science; amateur radio communication and technology demonstration. It is a part of the QB50 constellation. It carries 3 mission payloads: 1. An Ion-Neutral Mass Spectrometer (INMS). It is a standard payload of QB50 for upper atmosphere science. 2. A V/U APRS digipeater. It is open for amateur use. It will support both real-time repeating and store-forward mode. 3. A thermal infrared camera. It is open for amateur use. Any licensed radio amateur can send a telecommand to take an image and download the data. The in-orbit lifetime of LilacSat-1 is about 3 months, from launch to de-orbit. Proposing 9k6 BPSK and 1k2 AFSK APRS and image downlinks on UHF and uplinks and a backup downlink on VHF. ** Downlinks on 145.985MHz, 436.510MHz & 437.985MHz have been coordinated**
