Headline Details: The satellite is to prove 100 % COTS built satellite from the scratch is working or not in space. And the process and the results will be published as a book as a part of open source project. To gather the data, detailed missions are as below: 1. Health Data Beacon Downlink 2. UHF COMMS Uplink and Downlink 3. LED light blinking from the space. A 1U CubeSat planning to use downlinks on both UHF (1k2)and VHF (CW) will use solar panels charging both batteries and super capacitors. Scheduled to launch on a Soyuz-2 launcher, on 30th April 2013, into a 575km orbit at 64.9 deg inclination. Will fly with BeeSat 2 & 3, Bion-M, Dove-2 and SOMP. ** 437.525MHz and 145.980MHz downlinks have been coordinated** | ||||
