Headline Details: Provide a target for ground-based small element telescopes to calibrate attitude and shape recognition based on spectrum of reflected light. Secondary mission is operate ratheon imager over a 6 month period to image starfields. Also test SAIC imager functionality in space. Proposing a V/U transceiver with 9k6 AX25 GMSK packet downlink. Dimensions 45.72 cm X 78.74 cm X 45.72cm. Shaped as octagonal prism atop a cube. Mass of 70kg. No launch has been identified ** A Downlink freqeuncy of 437.200MHz has been coordinated** ** Update:now launching on STP 2 out of Cape Canaveral on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy. The launch is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2016 or Spring 2017** | ||||
