Headline Details: AAUSAT3 is a 1 unit cubesat. Primary mission is to receive AIS beacons from ships around Greenland, which is transmitted on 162MHz. The AIS receiver payload is actually two independent.One traditional “modem” based and one based on SDR principles. Proposing a simplex transceiver on 437.425MHz with the exact modulation scheme is still to be confirmed.
