Headline Details: This is an additional payload on the AISat spacecraft. Proposing to use UHF simplex communications with up to 2 watts of FM and MSK to CCSDS at 1.2k, 2k4, 4.8k and 9.6k. Also a CW beacon. Also carrying an experimental AIS receiver with a 4m helix antenna that also forms a gravity gradient boom. Planning a Q3 2011 launch from India in to 600-700km 98 deg SSO. ** A downlink of 437.505MHz has been coordinated** More info from www.dlr.de/irs
