Headline Details: CP5 is a 1u cubesat spacecraft. CP5\'s primary mission is to test a deployable de-orbiting mechanism. The de-orbiting mechanism will consist of a deployable surface, which will increase the atmospheric drag experienced by CP5. CP5 will re-enter the earth\'s atmosphere and burn up within a month of deployment of the mechanism. anticipating a 45 deg inclination 500km orbit from Kirkland AFB sometime in 2011.Proposing the use of a simplex UHF frequency with 1k2 FSK packet and a CW preamble. ** A co-ordinated frequency of 437.405MHz has been provided** Latest launch update \"now expected June 2012\"** More info from http://polysat.calpoly.edu/ | ||||
