Headline Details: A 1U cubesat project intended for LEO and designed to carry a single U/V linear transponder with a beacon carrying telemetry and data for educational demonstrations from space. The project includes the development of simple receivers and display software for use at schools etc.It is expected that the spacecraft construction and verification will completed by April/May 2012. A launch has been arranged on a DNEPR flight from Yasny in Russia scheduled for Sept/Oct 2012. Operating frequencies have been further revised and coordinated to take into account other payloads on the same launch: Inverting transponder: Uplink 435,150 – 435,130 MHz (Inverting) Downlink 145,950 – 145,970 MHz Beacon 145,935 MHz BPSK.
