Headline Details: A cubesat project. Now planning to use 145.950 for DSTAR and FSK AX25 downlink with 145.980 MHz for a CW beacon. A D-SSTAR uplink on 435.045MHz is porposed. It is planned for a launch sometime late 2104 on the ESA "fly your satellite" programme. The key, innovative, feature of OUFTI-1 is the use of the D-STAR amateur-radio digital-communication protocol. This means of radio-communication will be used for control and telemetry, and will of course be made available to ham-radio operators worldwide. In the future, it will also be used to control space experiments. ** A downlink on 145.950MHz with a CW beacon on 145.980MHz have been coordinated** **Now expected to launch into a 98 degree SSO from Kourou on April 22nd 2016 with Estar-2 and AAUSAT-4** | ||||
