Headline Details: Science mission to study atmospheric drag and educational outreach program involving students from grade school though college. Satellite contains three high school student payloads testing various types of commercial MEMS devices. Transmitter will test new FX.25 protocol. NRL will partner with FOGE (www.foge.org) to teach students about satellite operations, engineering, and science. Similar shape/configuration to Ande, battery powered no solar panels. Proposing the use of AX25 on 145.825MHz. Anticipating a Shuttle deployment sometime in 2009/2010. | ||||
