Headline Details: KySat1 is an educational venture between students from the University of entucky, Morehead State University, Murray State University, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Louisville. The satellite is designed to collect telemetry, take photographs, transfer data to and from the spacecraft using APRS type packets, and serve as a HAM V/U FM digital transceiver. **A cubesat now scheduled for a Feb 23rd 2011 launch from Vandenburg Air Force Base into a 643.3km 98 deg inclination orbit** The co-ordinated frequencies are 145.850MHz uplink and 436.795MHz downlink | ||||
