| Headline Details: A 3U CubeSat.The project is part of the WARR e.V. (Scientific Workgroup for Rocketry and Spaceflight), a student-lead non-profit organization based at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The MOVE-II la mission continues the heritage of over fifteen years of cooperation between the TUM and WARR with the goal of educating the next generation of satellite engineers. The mission encapsulates the first flight self developed of the MOVE-beyond satellite bus. It is a distributed system based on STM32 microcontrollers. The main scientific payload DEDRA is a refinement of the Munich Dust Counter (MDC), an impact-based detector for sub-millimeter space debris. It is planned, that the satellite transmits its telemetry packets worldwide, as such allowing radio amateurs around the globe to receive and decode its data. Science-Data from the DEDRA payload will also be sent over amateur radio during overpasses above our ground station in Germany and can be decoded by receiving radio amateurs. Details on the beacon format of telemetry and science- data will be put online shortly before launch. After successful commissioning, it is planned to allow other Educational Amateur radio clubs to command the satellite to further extend knowledge on the operation of satellites (this is based on applications and a needed training to prevent unexpected end of mission due to a faulty command). Proposing a UHF telemetry downlink using GMSK at up to 38k4 with ASM and GOLAY framing. Planning an InnoSpace launch from Santa Maria in the Azores in November 2026 into a 500 km polar orbit. The team consists of roughly 100 active students in the fields of Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. More info from www.warr.de/projects/move **Frequency coordination has been declined due to the lack of an amateur component and the fact that DEDRA as science payload can not be qualified as amateur satellite service** | ||||
