Headline Details: Conduct research in the field of 5G and 6G communications using not terrestrial networks. - Conduct research in the field NB-IoT using - Conduct research in the UHF and X-band amateur bands. The mission will embark a SDR capable of doing half duplex communication on the UHF and X-band amateur bands. The transceivers can be executed simultaneously. Using a container-based environment, we will be able to execute GNURadio-like flowgraphs or plain C++ code on the radios to demonstrate novel modulations or processing schemes. Our transceivers also have repeater capability. Amateurs will be able to propose any mode of operation, modulation, etc. and execute them in orbit in coordination with i2CAT. Experiment execution will be on demand and accessible to the entire amateur community. Proposing the following downlinks: 435-438 MHz: 9600 bps BPSK or QPSK 10.45-10.50 GHz: 1-10 Mbps QPSK. Planning a SpaceX launch from Vandenberg October 2025 into a 500 -600km SSO More info at https://arxiv.org/pdf/2503.15101 and https://i2cat.net/ **As the proposal has only very limited availability for amateur purposes, it cannot be classified as an amateur mission and therefore this frequency coordination request has been declined**
Application Date: 25 Apr 2025   Freq coordination completed on 14 Oct 2025
