Headline Details: Dove-1 is a technology development experiment to be launched to Low Earth Orbit on the inaugural launch of Antares (formerly known as the Taurus II). The satellite will be ejected from an ISIPOD 3U cubesat deployer planned for launch no earlier than February 28, 2012. Planned orbit is 280x270km orbit at 51.6 deg inclination, and due to the extremely low orbit, will reenter the Earth atmosphere after approximately 2 weeks. A 1 Watt, 1200 baud AFSK AX.25 beacon will transmit telemetry and health data.
