Headline Details: NittanySat will investigate the high-latitude D-region of the ionosphere and its effects on radio frequency communications. The D-region variability will be studied by measuring radio wave absorption and scintillation caused by the enhanced ionization from energetic particles and plasma irregularities. Proposing to use S band simplex operation with FHSS modulation. Also proposing to listen on the 14, 21, 28 & 50MHz bands. Planned to be be a 50x60x60cm spacecraft and approx 50kg mass.**Although a formal frequency coordination request was received this project has now been shelved**
